Essential Oils to Help You with Setting Goals

I love the way using essential oils to support me when I am setting goals.  They are very helpful for promoting focus, motivation, and a positive mindset. Keep in mind that your responses to essential oils can vary, so try a few different ones to see what works best for you. 

It's important to use them safely. Diffusing would be the most common. But you can also put one drop or less across your forehead, at temples, on back of the neck at the base of skull or over your heart. If you have any skin sensitivities, be sure to use with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil.
Here are a few essential oils that are commonly associated with promoting concentration, motivation, and a positive mindset:
Bergamot Oil: has a citrusy and uplifting scent. It is believed to promote a positive mood and reduce stress, potentially aiding in maintaining a positive mindset while working towards goals.

Cedarwood Oil: has a warm and woody aroma. It is associated with grounding and calming effects, making it helpful for maintaining focus and composure during the goal setting process.

 Clove Oil: has a warm, woody, spicy, and sweet aroma. It helps one stand up for themselves, be proactive and strength in making one’s own choices. Clove is considered a ‘hot’ oil and should always be used with a carrier oil when applied to the skin.

Frankincense Oil: has a warm and grounding fragrance. It is thought to promote a sense of calmness and focus, making it beneficial for contemplation and goal setting.

Green Mandarin Oil: has a fruity citrus and floral aroma.  It reminds one that they have direct access to their pure potential and boundless opportunities. 

Lavender Oil: is known for its calming properties. While it may not directly enhance goal setting, it can help reduce stress and create a more relaxed environment, allowing for clearer thinking.

Lemon Oil: has a bright and uplifting aroma. It is believed to enhance concentration and mental focus. The fresh scent can help create a positive environment that supports goal oriented thinking.
Lemon Myrtle Oil: has a bright fresh uplifting aroma. It helps with positive, clear thinking,  helping with clarifying the mind and will.

Peppermint Oil: is known for its invigorating and refreshing scent. It may help stimulate the mind, increase alertness, and promote mental clarity, making it useful for setting and pursuing goals.

Rosemary Oil: is often associated with improved memory and mental clarity. It may help boost cognitive function, making it a potential aid for setting and achieving goals.

 Spanish Sage Oil:  is beautiful, refreshing, soothing, and uplifting. It helps create a stimulating atmosphere that’s supportive of memory and cognitive performance.
