DIY Essential Oil Travel Aide Blends

Summer means more traveling for most of us and as I have learned the hard way – You don’t want to forget your essential oils!

An easy way to make things hassle free is to add pre-diluted oil blends to your packing list. This way the whole family can use them as needed when you are away from home.

Prepare blends ahead of time to be ready for any situation. 
Add essential oil drops (get essential oils) into a 10 ml roller bottle, (get roller bottles) 
Then fill the bottle to the collar with a carrier like fractionated coconut oil (get fractionated coconut oil)
Replace the rollerball insert. 
These blends are created at a 3% dilution ratio.  
 
Calm Down
4 drops Bergamot
4 drops Orange
1 drop Vetiver
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to inside of wrists, behind ears, or over heart
 
Energy Booster
5 drops Lemon
2 drops Sandalwood
2 drops Black Pepper
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to inside of wrists, behind ears, or over heart
 
 
Germ Fighter    
2 drops Lemon
2 drops Tea Tree
2 drops Eucalyptus
2 Rosemary
1 drop Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to hands or to desired target areas
 
Headache Soother
3 drops Peppermint
3 drops Frankincense
2 drops Rosemary
2 drops Lavender
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to hairline above the temples, and/or to back of neck as needed (avoid eye area)

 
Itch Begone
3 drops Copaiba
3 drops Lavender
3 drops Peppermint
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to hands or to desired target areas
 
  


Jet Lag No More
4 drops Orange
3 drops Peppermint
2 drops Lemongrass
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to inside of wrists, behind ears, or to the chest area
 
Motion Sickness
4 drops Peppermint
3 drops Cardamon
2 drops Fennel
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil   
Application: Apply to inside of wrists, behind ears, or over chest or to stomach area in a clockwise direction
 
Muscle Relief
3 drops Black Spruce
3 drops Blue Tansy
3 drops Frankincense
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to desired target areas
 
 Sleep Time
3 drops Lavender
3 drops Roman Chamomile
3 drops Ylang Ylang
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to bottom of feet/big toes, behind ears, or over chest or back of neck before bedtime
 

Tummy Soother
4 drops Roman Chamomile
3 drops Peppermint
2 drops Wild Orange
1 drop Ginger
2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
Application: Apply to stomach area in a clockwise direction
